THE
CHALLENGE

When I joined, the platform was an internal product that was built to run the traditional wine distribution business in Asia. I led the product design and product strategy to create a new revenue vertical for the company.
 

 

THE
PROCESS

The first step was taking an internal tool that had no style guide, design system, or consistent user experience and developing one. I took a user first approach with the design and brought the most used features higher up in the app. Previously core features were 5 clicks deep. I also reduced the side navigation to allow for more real estate to display the data tables.

The major discovery from user testing on the first design was the current color palette of the dark UI did not provide enough contrast. So I created a revised dark mode palette along with a light mode. This was just a few of the on-going improvements to the platform.

 

THE
RESULT

Under my design leadership, the product has become the world’s first sales and marketing mobile-first platform and has been named Asia’s leading CEM solution. It was also awarded Silver in the “Enterprise Product of the Year at the Best in Biz Awards 2019 International!
